For some, nothing but granite will do. Granite is quarried, cut, and polished. That’s it. It’s a natural stone in its natural state. With high heat- and scratch-resistance, granite is ready for daily use. While it is porous and needs to be sealed, our optional 15-year sealant makes maintenance easy.

Quartz Countertops

Quartz countertops are hot right now, and for good reason. Unlike granite, they are not cut in slabs directly from a hillside. Instead, they are made of natural stone dust and polymers. This gives the look of natural stone with benefits like being non-porous and inherently stain-resistant.

Should I choose granite or quartz countertops?

Granite and quartz are both natural stone, but they aren’t made the same and have different properties.
